Lesson Descriptions:

Beginner Charleston: Begins March 12th
Charleston is the heartbeat of what eventually became Lindy Hop.
It is incredibly versatile and useful for faster music. It is also an essential tool to add to your swing dance repertoire, because it is often danced in conjunction with Lindy Hop. In this series we will cover side-by-side, hand-to-hand, front-to-back, and tandem Charleston variations.

Level: BEGINNER. Prerequisites: None

Intermediate Lindy HopBegins March 12th
This class is for Lindy Hoppers who are ready to take their dancing up a notch. They already know how to swing out, get in and out of a lindy circle, can execute some turns, and know some fancy footwork. Now they're ready for more moves! More turns! More footwork! More patterns!
... and a few more surprises...

Level: INTERMEDIATE. Prerequisites: Beginner Lindy Hop or confident knowledge of basic lindy hop patterns

Beginner Jitterbug/6-Count Lindy Hop: Every week at 8pm in the Northwest Room

Drop-in Beginner Jitterbug/6-Count Lindy Lesson: At 8:00pm every Thursday, we offer a weekly 30 minute jitterbug lesson for beginners. The goal is to cover the basic footwork each week followed by new moves and variations. This taster class is perfect for the brand new dancer looking to test the waters or for experienced dancers wanting to have more Jitterbug/6-Count move variations.
Level: BEGINNER. Prerequisites: None
